Kaliba are partnering with a well-established Melbourne-based Managed Services Provider to appoint a Managing Director to take full ownership of the company's Managed Services business unit. This is a rare chance to lead an established, profitable MSP division, reporting directly to the CEO and playing a key role in the company's future growth.

This isn't a traditional Service Delivery Manager role. You'll have full responsibility for the commercial success, operational performance, client relationships and leadership of the Managed Services division.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Lead and develop a team of Service Desk and Infrastructure Engineers (L1-L3)
n
- Own the Managed Services P&L;, including revenue, profitability and utilisation
n
- Drive operational excellence across service delivery, projects and customer experience
n
- Build trusted relationships with key clients and act as the senior escalation point
n
- Improve processes, automation and AI adoption to increase efficiency and service quality
n




- Work closely with the CEO to help shape business strategy and future growth
n
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
n

What we're looking for

- Proven leadership within an MSP environment
n
- Experience managing technical teams and customer outcomes
n
- Strong commercial acumen with exposure to P&L;, utilisation and recurring revenue
n
- Credible technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, backup, DR and security
n
- Experience improving operational processes and leveraging automation
n
- A modern leadership style with a genuine interest in AI and technology innovation
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills
n
