About the opportunity
n
We're looking for an experienced Tourism Workforce Connect Manager to lead an exciting statewide workforce initiative supporting Queensland's tourism industry.
n
You'll lead the delivery of the Seasonal Mobility and Staff Accommodation Exchange (SMASE) - a 24-month pilot designed to tackle some of tourism's biggest workforce challenges by better connecting workers, employers, accommodation and transport across Queensland.

In this role, you'll:

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex, government-funded statewide project
n
- Manage a team of Tourism Workforce Connect Coordinators
n
- Drive project governance, budgets, risk, compliance and reporting
n
- Oversee the development and implementation of a digital workforce exchange platform
n
- Build solid partnerships across government, industry, tourism regions, councils, employers and service providers
n
- Lead monitoring, evaluation and the roadmap for future scaling
n
n
We're looking for someone who brings:

- Strong project or program leadership experience
n
- Experience delivering government-funded or complex multi-stakeholder projects
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
n
- Strong governance, financial and reporting capability
n
- Confident people leadership and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
n
n
