Role Description The Data Insights Analyst (Remote, Entry-Level) role is a full-time position focused on turning event and participant data into actionable insights that support Gametraq’s growth across multiple sports verticals. In this role, you will collect, clean, and analyze data related to tournaments, leagues, customer engagement, and partner performance. You will help build dashboards and reports that track key metrics, highlight trends, and inform decisions around event formats, pricing, marketing, and stakeholder experience.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with operations and marketing teams to support market research, segment audiences, and identify opportunities to improve participant satisfaction and sponsor value. You will also assist in documenting data processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of Gametraq’s data infrastructure and analytics practices, while collaborating remotely with colleagues in different functions.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, identify patterns, and present clear insights.




- Foundational experience or coursework in data analytics, including familiarity with spreadsheets, basic statistical concepts, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to conduct structured market research and derive customer insight to support event positioning, audience segmentation, and stakeholder strategy.
- Effective communication skills to translate complex findings into concise reports, presentations, and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a remote, rapid-paced environment, with strong time management, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Interest in the sports industry and enthusiasm for learning about sports event management and the broader sports ecosystem.
- Knowledge of basic BI or analytics tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and familiarity with survey tools or CRM platforms is an advantage
