About the role

DeckSeal Mornington Peninsula is seeking a Deck Restoration Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on position based across the Mornington Peninsula, where you will support our experienced deck restoration specialists in delivering high-quality results for our valued customers. As a Deck Restoration Labourer, you will play a vital role in preparing, treating and finishing timber and composite decking surfaces, ensuring every project meets our exacting standards.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing deck surfaces through cleaning, sanding and stripping existing finishes
- Assisting in the application of protective coatings, sealers and treatments to timber and composite decking
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete restoration tasks
- Maintaining work areas and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Following health and safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule

What we're looking for

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Reliability and punctuality is important for work scheduling
- Basic understanding of health and safety requirements in the construction and trades sector
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced supervisors
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team




- Experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous but not essential – training will be provided
- A valid driver's licence and own motor vehicle is required for travelling to various job sites
- No formal qualifications are required; however, a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the work are essential
