Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Demolition & Asbestos Removalist to join our team.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will be involved in a variety of demolition and asbestos removal projects throughout the Mid West region. You will work alongside experienced professionals in a safety-focused environment where quality workmanship and teamwork are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe removal of bonded and friable asbestos (where licensed).
- Demolition of residential, commercial and industrial structures.
- Site preparation, containment and clean-up.
- Loading and unloading equipment and materials.
- Operating power tools and demolition equipment.
- Following Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and company procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Working as part of a professional team while delivering excellent service to clients.
Essential Requirements
- Current Class C Driver's Licence (MR or HR licence highly regarded).
- White Card.
- Asbestos Removal Ticket (or willingness to obtain).
- Construction Induction Card.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
Highly Regarded
- Non - Friable Asbestos Removal Ticket
- Basic Demolition Ticket.
- Supervisory experience.
- Excavator, skid steer or loader tickets.
- Working at Heights.
- Confined Space.
- EWP.
- Forklift Licence.
- First Aid Certificate.
- HR or HC Driver's Licence.
