You'll help implement and maintain security solutions, support security and cloud risk assessments, and provide technical escalation support to security operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and configure security technologies including firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection and proxies.
n
- Support security and cloud risk assessments across recent and existing solutions.
n
- Provide security expertise across AWS and Azure environments.
n
- Integrate security technologies across infrastructure and cloud environments.
n
- Support vulnerability management, remediation and patching activities.
n
- Contribute to security governance and risk management.
n
- Support security operations as an escalation point for technical security issues.
n
- Conduct security reviews and help identify opportunities to strengthen the organisation's security posture.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the team.
n

What You'll Need
n
n
- Experience in Cybersecurity Engineering,
Information Security or a related field.
n
- Strong hands-on experience with security technologies.
n
- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
n
- Experience with Splunk SIEM.
n
- Exposure to Microsoft Defender, Cisco ISE, Rapid7, Tenable and/or Bluecoat.
n
- Strong understanding of AWS and Azure security.
n
- Knowledge of IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, endpoint security and network security.
n
- Experience with security risk and cloud security assessments.
n
- Understanding of ACSC Essential Eight and ASD ISM.
n
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
n
- Relevant cloud or security certifications.
n
- ITIL Foundation.
n
- CCNA/CCNP Security or equivalent.
n
- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst or CEH.
n
- Experience within a highly regulated or complex enterprise environment.
