Responsibilities

n





We are seeking a commercially focused Business Controller – Transport to partner with our Transport Operations and Finance teams. This role plays a critical part in driving financial performance, providing commercial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across our transport network. A dynamic role, where every day is different, your duties will include:

- Partner with Transport Operations leaders to improve financial and operational performance.
n
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial results, forecasts, and budgets.
n
- Monitor transport costs, productivity metrics, and profitability.
n
- Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
n
- Ensure compliance with DHL financial policies and reporting requirements.
n
- Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
n
- CA, CPA, or equivalent skilled qualification preferred.
n
- Experience in business partnering, financial controlling, or commercial finance.
n
- Background in transport, logistics, supply chain, or FMCG industries highly regarded.
n
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
n
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
- Ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
n
