About Genus Genus is a leading provider of essential power and communications infrastructure, delivering major projects across Australia.

We are currently seeking experienced Transmission Riggers to join our team working on the Clean Energy Link project in Western Australia.

n

The Clean Energy Link is a major transmission infrastructure project designed to increase network capacity and enable additional renewable energy generation to connect into WA's electricity network.

n

About The Project The Project Scope Includes

n

n
- Construction of new transmission infrastructure and associated transmission lines
n
- Recent terminal builds at Regans Ford and Eneabba
n
- Upgrades to existing 330kV Northern Terminal and Eneabba Terminal infrastructure
n
- New 330kV and 132kV terminal works
n
- Existing line conversion and network reinforcement works
n

n

About the Role As a Transmission Rigger, you will support the construction, assembly, and erection of transmission line infrastructure across the project.

n

Your Responsibilities Will Include

n

n
- Performing rigging and dogging activities associated with transmission line construction
n
- Assisting with tower assembly, erection, and structural installation
n
- Safely slinging, lifting, positioning, and securing steel structures and transmission components
n
- Supporting conductor stringing, tensioning, and associated transmission activities
n
- Inspecting and maintaining rigging equipment and lifting gear
n




- Following lift plans, SWMS, work instructions, and project procedures
n
- Working safely with crane operators, doggers, and construction crews
n
- Participating in pre-starts and toolbox meetings while maintaining a strong safety focus
n

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in transmission line construction, assembly, and erection works
n
- Relevant High Risk Work Licence (Rigging)
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Experience working at heights in a construction environment
n
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality outcomes
n

Pay & Conditions

n

Hourly Rates

n

n
- Transmission Rigger - Basic: $49.14/hr
n
- Transmission Rigger - Intermediate: $50.23/hr
n
- Transmission Rigger - Advanced: $51.32/hr
n

n

Plus applicable penalty rates in accordance with the GNI Enterprise Agreement.

n

Working Hours

n

n
- 11 hour shift including a 30-minute unpaid meal break
n

n

Project Locations:

n

works across Malaga, Regans Ford, and Eneabba, WA

n

WA Roster:

n

6 days on, 1 day off

n

East Coast Roster:

n

3 weeks on, 1 week off (flights provided)

n

Camp Allowance:

n

$80 per day (taxable) when staying in camp accommodation

n

Shortlisted candidates will have a phone call with the Construction Manager to further assess your suitability to be part of this major infrature project
