Design & Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for a creative Graphic Designer with an interest in marketing to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career designer who wants to use their design skills every day while developing broader marketing experience and building a pathway toward future marketing-focused opportunities.

About the Role

Reporting to the Customer Marketing Communications Manager and working within our agile Sydney-based Marketing & Communications team, you’ll take a hands-on role in creating engaging, brand-aligned visual content across print, social media, email, web, presentations, events, and point-of-sale materials.

Graphic design will be a core part of the role. You’ll use your understanding of layout, typography, imagery, and brand consistency to develop and adapt creative assets for campaigns, product launches, promotions, trade marketing, and internal communications. Using primarily Adobe Creative Suite, you’ll produce brochures, flyers, POS materials, presentations, digital assets, social content, and other marketing collateral that showcase Hager’s innovative products and solutions.

Alongside design, you’ll support the day-to-day coordination and administration that keeps marketing activity moving—from maintaining collateral and coordinating suppliers to assisting with events, campaign execution, and other team projects. As you grow in the role, there will be opportunities to broaden your marketing responsibilities and become more involved in campaign planning, content, digital marketing, and trade marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and produce creative assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, events, social media, email, web, presentations, and internal communications




- Develop and adapt brochures, flyers, POS, merchandising materials, digital graphics, templates, and other brand-aligned collateral
- Work within Hager brand guidelines to maintain a consistent and high-quality visual identity across marketing touchpoints
- Prepare artwork for print and digital use and coordinate with printers, suppliers, agencies, and other external partners
- Support the Marketing & Communications team with campaign coordination, marketing administration, collateral management, and internal content libraries
- Assist with trade marketing activities, event preparation, logistics, and onsite activations
- Contribute ideas and creative thinking to broader marketing projects, with opportunities to take on increased marketing responsibility as your skills develop

Your Profile

- You have a qualification in graphic design, visual communication, marketing/design, or equivalent practical experience, with internship, freelance, coursework, or 1–2 years’ experience welcomed
- Confident using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; Canva experience is also valuable
- A genuine passion for marketing, design, content creation, and brand storytelling
- Strong organisational skills with a reliable, detail‑driven work style
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic experience with print or digital tools is beneficial
