About the role

We are a world-class, patient- and research-focused Diabetes Education Service team, proudly recognised as one of only 6 National Association of Diabetes Centres of Excellence and ranked among the top 40 World's Best Specialised Hospitals. Our dynamic team works collaboratively across nursing, endocrinology, dietetics and research to support patients with diabetes to understand and live well with their condition.

Our Administrative Support staff are integral to everything we do.

Key Accountabilities

You will be a key member of our day-to-day operations and a vital first point of contact for our patients, families and visitors. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Patient enquiries, bookings, admissions and discharge coordination

Clerical, administrative and receptionist duties

Managing physical and telecommunication traffic throughout the area

Providing clear and qualified communication with staff, patients, carers and the public





Contributing to service and quality improvement activities

About You

Strong organisational skills, reliability and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

Experience in administration or customer service, ideally within a healthcare environment

Skilled, caring and patient-focused approach to every interaction

Strong communication skills with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
