Zammit Transport is a family-owned and operated business that has recently expanded, opening a second location in Tottenham. With our continued growth, we are currently looking for qualified mechanics to join our team.

About the role

- Diagnose and coordinate the maintenance and repairs of all Prime Movers in our fleet.
- Perform both major and minor services.
- Onsite and offsite emergency repairs, and breakdowns.
- Complete accurate job cards/ documentation of tasks.
- Carry out all work in a safe manner in accordance with OH&S; and NHVR regulations.

- Good Pay

This position is full-time, morning and afternoon shift, with overtime and weekend work. Qualifications

- A diesel mechanic trade certificate is required.
- Must have a current Australian driver license.




- Current forklift license preferred, but not essential.
- MR/HR truck license preferred, but not essential.
- Proven previous experience working with heavy vehicles.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable and motivated with the ability to work under pressure.

- Work within a team and independently.
- Have a sound understanding of protected work practices.
