About the role:
Due to continued growth and expansion into specialised fleet and vegetation management equipment, ETS Infrastructure Management is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Diesel Fitter to join our Narangba or Yandina workshop.
This is not your typical workshop role. You'll work across a diverse fleet including heavy vehicles, elevated work platforms (EWPs), woodchippers, hydraulic systems, forestry equipment and specialised vegetation management machinery. If you're someone who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working on unique equipment, we'd love to hear from you!
Hydraulic diagnostics, maintenance and repair experience is essential. Experience working on forestry, tree processing, vegetation management equipment, chippers, mulchers or similar specialised machinery will be highly regarded.
As a key member of our workshop team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability and performance of our fleet while supporting major infrastructure projects across the region
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our diverse fleet
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults to keep equipment running smoothly
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule
- Adhere to ETS safety standards and procedures
Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant mechanical trade qualifications
- Experience with diesel trucks, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of EWPs, utes, chippers, and vegetation maintenance equipment is a plus
- Strong commitment to safety, health, and environmental procedures
Hands on mechanical and hydraulic engineering experience would be advantageous, however we are willing to train/upskill the right person.
