About the role

As a Vital Health Dietitian, you'll work within a multidisciplinary team delivering services across clinic, community and outreach settings throughout the St George region. This is a diverse role for an experienced Dietitian looking to work across a broad clinical caseload while making a meaningful contribution to healthcare delivery in a rural community. Your caseload will reflect local service needs, with plenty of variety and the opportunity to develop areas of clinical interest over time.

Key responsibilities

- Delivering personalised nutrition interventions across chronic disease management, paediatrics, aged care, gut health, eating disorders and home enteral nutrition
- Providing services across clinic, community, school, early childhood, home visit and telehealth settings
- Supporting clients across rural and Indigenous communities, with care shaped around individual and local needs
- Working alongside Speech Pathologists (SPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physiotherapists (PTs), Exercise Physiologists (EPs) and Allied Health Assistants (AHAs)
- Contributing to Vital Health's Sleep Health service, including opportunities to support sleep studies and work alongside Sleep Specialists
- Supporting the Right Care Right Place initiative, helping improve access to appropriate support for people experiencing disordered eating and eating disorders
- Participating in outreach and community-based service delivery as part of a supported regional team

About you

- Recognised tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status




- Previous clinical experience as a Dietitian
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current driver's licence
- Enjoys variety and is comfortable working across different service settings
- Values being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
- Interested in rural health, community nutrition and improving access to care
- Enjoys building relationships with clients, families and local communities
- Comfortable managing caseload with a level of autonomy while remaining connected to a broader clinical team
