Junior-Mid Digital Designer

Sydney | Hybrid | $70–80k + Super

MUST BE SYDNEY-BASED WITH FULL WORKING RIGHTS A design-led creative technology studio is looking for a Junior–Midweight Digital Designer to join its Sydney team, working across digital experiences, interactive design, motion and emerging technology.

This is a great opportunity for a digitally minded designer with strong visual craft who wants to push beyond traditional graphic design and build experiences that move, respond and interact .

What They’re Looking For

You’ll be a curious, ideas-led designer with a strong eye for digital design and an interest in how people interact with brands, products and technology.

Key requirements:

- Strong digital design fundamentals and visual craft
- Confident working in Figma
- A portfolio showcasing strong digital design and creative thinking
- An understanding of interaction design, UI and digital experiences
- Ability to think conceptually and translate ideas into engaging digital executions
- Curiosity around AI, emerging technology and recent creative tools
- Comfortable experimenting, prototyping and learning as you go

Ideally, you’ll also bring strength in one or more of:

- Interaction design – designing intuitive, engaging and responsive digital experiences
- Motion design / animation – bringing interfaces, brands and ideas to life through movement
- Prototyping and micro-interactions
- Digital product / UI design




- Creative coding or front-end development
- Generative AI tools and workflows
- Interactive or experiential design

The Opportunity You’ll work across a broad mix of projects including:

The studio has a lean, experienced team, so you’ll get genuine exposure to projects from early concept and design thinking through to prototyping and final execution . They’re not looking for someone who already knows everything. They want a versatile digital creative with strong fundamentals, plenty of curiosity and the appetite to develop deeper capabilities across interaction, motion and creative technology .
