The Distributors Mt Gambier are looking for a driven and energetic Digital Marketing Officer to start immediately.

The Opportunity

Based in Mount Gambier, this full-time position is ideal for a digital marketer who wants more than simply managing social media. You will have the chance to build our online presence, promote exciting products, support our sales team and directly contribute to the growth of the business.

As a family-owned business proudly supporting the community for almost 36 years, The Distributors Mt Gambier take pride in providing excellent customer service to our existing and ever-expanding wholesale and public client base. We offer an extensive range of food and beverage products, including paper products, cleaning solutions, catering equipment and BBQ essentials throughout The Limestone Coast & Southeast of Western Victoria.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to

- Liaise with Suppliers and Management to execute monthly catalogues
- Drive the development and coordination of advertising campaigns alongside Management
- Design and proofread creative copy
- Work with the sales team to develop marketing materials and campaigns that support customer acquisition and retention
- Manage and update website and online ordering app images, product information and promotions
- Prepare and distribute Mailchimp email campaigns including newsletters and promotional communications
- Plan, create and schedule all media content across Facebook and Instagram
- Respond to social media and online comments,



messages and enquiries in a timely and appropriate manner
- Support teams in administration and warehouse roles

What We’re Looking For

- Solid writing skills and competence in design tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in social media landscape, such as Meta Business Suite (Facebook) and Instagram
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Accurate data entry skills
- Confident and outgoing personality, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and have great attention to detail
- Exceptional organisational skills, use initiative to establish priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Confidence working independently while also collaborating with other team members
- Willing to learn other roles within the company
