About the role

As a Support Worker at Eminence Care, you will provide one-on-one in-home support to clients with daily living activities and community participation. You will work across Melbourne supporting individuals to maintain independence and enhance their quality of life.

Key responsibilities

- Providing one-on-one in-home support to clients with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and transport assistance
- Supporting community participation, social activities, and outings
- Assisting with domestic tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Encouraging independence and self-confidence through tailored support programmes
- Reporting and recording client information in line with NDIS requirements
- Supporting clients with hoist transfers and manual handling as required

About you

- Certificate III in Individual Support qualification is mandatory for this position
- Minimum of 6 months experience in disability or aged care services
- Knowledge and awareness of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Experience with behaviour management, hygiene care, peg feeding,



hoist/manual handling, and community engagement
- Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A client-focused, safety-first approach with attention to confidentiality and professionalism
- Valid work visa or Australian work rights are required
