Golden Lotus Cares provides high-quality disability support services to NDIS participants across East, South and South-East Melbourne. We support individuals with a wide range of disabilities, support needs and personal goals, helping them live with greater independence, choice and dignity in their communities.

We are currently seeking experienced and professional Disability Support Workers who are confident in providing personal care and participant-focused support in accordance with NDIS standards, participant needs and company expectations.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personalised support to participants, including:

- Personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Mobility and transfers assistance
- Support with daily living activities
- Assistance to maintain personal hygiene, dignity and independence
- Community access and participation where required
- Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals and maintain their quality of life
- Following individual support plans, organisational procedures and relevant NDIS requirements

About You We are looking for reliable,



compassionate and professional support workers who are confident providing personal care and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community services or a similar care environment
- Demonstrated experience and confidence providing personal care
- A person-centred approach to supporting participants
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and follow support plans and organisational procedures
- Reliability, professionalism and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care

Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour

Experience

- Individual Support Worker: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred)
- Working with Children Check (Preferred)
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- Australian Driver's Licence (Preferred)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:
- Australia (Preferred)
