- A growing alternative investment manager is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join its Operations team in Sydney.
- This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional looking to build specialist experience in treasury, cash management and fund operations within a sophisticated private markets environment. The successful candidate will gain exposure across a diverse portfolio of alternative investment strategies and work closely with senior operations professionals, investment teams, administrators and banking counterparties.

About the Opportunity:

- Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in managing treasury activities across a range of private market and alternative investment vehicles. The role combines hands-on cash management responsibilities with exposure to fund operations, administrator oversight and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury & Cash Management

- Monitor daily cash positions across fund and investment vehicle bank accounts.
- Process and coordinate payments, transfers and banking transactions.
- Maintain banking platform access, user administration and signatory records.
- Support cash forecasting for capital calls, distributions, drawdowns, redemptions and fee payments.
- Prepare and review cash reconciliations across internal records, custodians and banking platforms.
- Coordinate foreign exchange transactions where required.
- Assist with debt facility drawdowns and repayments.
- Maintain treasury calendars and funding schedules across multiple investment structures.

Fund Operations:

- Support NAV oversight and validation processes with external fund administrators.
- Assist with reconciliation reviews,



management fees and investor reporting.
- Support quarterly and annual reporting, audits and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain fund static data and operational records.

Process Improvement & Controls

- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automate operational processes.
- Assist in maintaining treasury procedures, controls and documentation.
- Monitor exceptions and support operational risk management processes.

You will ideally have:

- 1-3 years' experience in treasury, cash management, fund accounting, banking operations or a related financial services role.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel capability.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop within private markets.
- Exposure to funds management, custody, investment operations or alternative assets will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
