Tradewind Australia is working with a well-established K-12 Christian school in Western Sydney to recruit a passionate and engaging Secondary Drama Teacher for a permanent full-time position commencing 18 January 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Drama teacher who is passionate about the Performing Arts and wants to join a team-oriented school community where students are encouraged to develop their creativity, confidence and skills through performance.
The Role
The successful teacher will:
- Teach Secondary Drama, including Stage 6
- Engage and inspire students across the secondary years
- Nurture students' existing interest and potential in Drama
- Contribute to performances and opportunities for students to showcase their learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within a dynamic school environment
- Contribute positively to the broader life and community of the College
- Support the school's Christian ethos and Biblical worldview
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Is suitably qualified and experienced to teach Stage 6 Drama
- Has a genuine passion for Drama and the Performing Arts
- Is creative, enthusiastic and student-focused
- Has strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
- Is committed to supporting students' academic, personal and spiritual development
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion).
- NESA registration.
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
- Two referees with educational backgrounds and a Christian church reference
