They're looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to play a key role in shaping their engineering capability, architecture and technology direction.

The Role

n

As the Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Shaping and influencing the organisation's technical vision and engineering strategy
n
- Mentoring and developing senior engineers, helping raise technical capability across the team
n
- Driving the adoption of AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices across the organisation
n
- Leading complex, cross‐functional initiatives and defining scalable software architectures
n
- Providing technical mentorship, establishing best practices and championing engineering excellence
n
- Hands‐on full-stack engineering, contributing across both front-end and back-end development while helping solve complex technical challenges.
n




- Collaborating with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions
n
- Influencing hiring decisions and helping shape a high‐performance engineering culture
n

What You'll Bring

n

You must have this experience to be successful in the role:

n

n
- 10+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years in technical leadership
n
- Expert-level .NET expertise, with strong experience designing and building scalable applications
n
- Strong TypeScript and React.js experience, with a hands‐on approach to full-stack development
n
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), SQL Server, Redis and observability tools (Datadog, LaunchDarkly)
n
- Proven track record delivering large‐scale, distributed systems and driving process improvements
n
- Strong communication, collaboration and problem‐solving skills
n
- Hands‐on experience with AI‐assisted dev tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude) and LLM API integration
