Opportunity for Day Shifts in Northern Adelaide and Passive Night Shifts in North & South Adelaide

About Us We are expanding, and we’re looking for compassionate Support Workers to join our productive, cohesive, and respectful team.

Our qualified Developmental Educators (DEs) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practitioners work closely with individuals to provide holistic care that truly makes a difference and support individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals, foster independence, and live fulfilling lives.

Available Positions

We currently have multiple casual opportunities available across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services:

Northern Adelaide (Munno Para)

- Passive Night Support Workers (Female only)
- Day Shift Support Workers (Male & Female)

Southern Adelaide (Hackham West)

- Passive Night Support Workers (Female only)

About the Role

As a Support Worker at QB Care, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living within our 24/7 SIL and SDA services. You will play a key role in supporting participants to maintain their independence, achieve their individual goals, and actively participate in their communities.

Passive Night shifts include active support hours during the evening and/or morning, combined with an overnight sleepover component.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide person-centred support in accordance with individual support plans.
- Assist with personal care,



mobility, daily living activities, and household tasks.
- Support participants to engage in community activities and meaningful social connections.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and follow relevant care plans.
- Assist with medication administration where trained and authorised.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and incident reporting records.
- Promote participant choice, dignity, rights, and independence.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming home workplace.

About You

We are looking for people who are:
- Compassionate, respectful, and committed to supporting people with disability.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communicators with a positive and proactive approach.
- Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including passive nights.
- Willing to learn and continuously develop their skills.

Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Manual Handling Training

- Medication Administration Training

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module

- Current Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

- Valid Australian working rights

Highly Regarded





- Previous disability support experience

- Positive Behaviour Support experience
- Dysphagia and Mealtime support experience

- Mental Health experience

Training and Induction Requirements

Successful applicants must be available to participate in mandatory induction, onboarding, training, and competency assessments during daytime business hours prior to commencing independent shifts. This may include both online and face-to-face training requirements.
