We are currently seeking reliable and physically fit Dockhands / Trailer Unloaders to join our team based in Larapinta. This is a casual opportunity with consistent hours available across both AM and PM shifts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- $40 per hour (additional penalities may apply)
- 3–5 days per week (depending on freight volumes) Monday to Friday Roster (weekend work not required)
SHIFT TIMES
- AM: 5:00am – 5:30am starts
- PM: 2:00pm – 3:30pm starts
- 4–8 hour shifts depending on workload
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loading and unloading truck trailers
- Sorting freight on conveyor belts
- Wrapping and securing pallets
- Moving cages and general freight handling
- Strapping, wrapping, and preparing freight for dispatch
- Manual handling of items up to 30kg
REQUIREMENTS
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling (25kg+ lifts)
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Own vehicle and driver’s licence required
- Forklift licence highly advantageous (not essential)
