The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Driver / Yard Hand to assist our Sumner branch by delivering and collecting small hire plant and equipment, delivery and install of site temporary fencing and aluminium scaffolding as well as providing our customers with outstanding service whilst safely loading and unloading at the branch. Assist the workshop with equipment servicing and cleaning of portable toilets. When necessary the role may also include on-site portable toilet services when needed.



You will form part of a growing team who will support you with ongoing training with an opportunity of a career development, whilst enjoying a fun and secured place to work.

About You

You will be in charge of representing and showcasing Direct Hire excellent service, with expert advice whilst at the branch and on-site whilst maintaining high standards of equipment quality through servicing, positive attitude and safety approach to your everyday tasks. To be successful for this position, the following are essential:

- Construction White Card
- MR Truck Manual Drivers License
- Forklift License
- Scaffold Basic License (preffered but not essential)
- Team worker and willing to learn on the job
- Punctual with professional and safety conscious
