About the role

Kids Cave Early Education is seeking two positions: a Diploma-Qualified Educator and an Early Childhood Centre Cook. The Educator will work in a supportive early childhood environment, building warm relationships with children, families and colleagues while contributing to programming, documentation and daily routines. The Cook will prepare healthy and appealing meals for children while maintaining a clean, organised and compliant kitchen.

Key responsibilities

Diploma-Qualified Educator:

- Build warm relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Contribute to programming, documentation and daily routines
- Understand and implement the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Maintain child-safe practices

Early Childhood Centre Cook:

- Prepare healthy and appealing meals for children
- Understand allergies, dietary requirements and safe food handling
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen
- Plan menus, order supplies and manage stock

About you Diploma-Qualified Educator:





- Holds an approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Has a current paid NSW Working with Children Check
- Holds current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications
- Understands the EYLF, National Quality Standards and child-safe practices
- Caring, reliable and enthusiastic

Early Childhood Centre Cook:

- Can prepare healthy and appealing meals for children
- Understands allergies, dietary requirements and safe food handling
- Can confidently plan menus, order supplies and manage stock
- Holds or is willing to obtain relevant food-safety training
- Has a current paid NSW Working with Children Check
- Organised and dependable
- Previous experience cooking in an early childhood service is highly regarded
