Our client is a highly successful Australian contemporary fashion brand, founded in Melbourne with an established global customer following and an enviable international wholesale network.

Stocked by some of the world’s leading fashion retailers, the business is now investing significantly in its next stage of growth and transforming its direct-to-consumer channel into a meaningful global business.

We are searching for a commercially driven and highly capable eCommerce Manager excited by the opportunity to build, optimise and scale this channel from the ground up.

The Role |

This is far more than an eCommerce administration role.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day performance, development and growth of the global online business. Thinking like an online retailer and commercial owner, with accountability across revenue, conversion, acquisition, retention and profitability.

Working closely with the CEO, Brand Director and wider Merchandising, Operations and Creative teams, you will help establish the trading rhythms, systems and commercial discipline required to build a high-performing global DTC channel.

- Own commercial website performance across key international markets, driving revenue, conversion, AOV, acquisition and retention.
- Build and manage the annual eCommerce trading calendar across collections, launches, campaigns and key retail moments.
- Lead day-to-day Shopify trading, optimisation and online merchandising across categories, inventory and sell-through.
- Continually improve the customer journey across navigation, PDPs, search, checkout, mobile experience and site speed.
- Partner with digital agencies across Meta, Google, paid search/social, SEO, affiliates, influencers and retargeting.
- Monitor and optimise key commercial metrics including CAC, ROAS, MER, CLV and channel profitability.
- Develop CRM, email and SMS strategies,



including automated journeys across acquisition, retention, VIP and win-back.
- Elevate the end-to-end premium customer experience across delivery, returns, shipping and communications.
- Identify and execute eCommerce growth opportunities across Australia, the US, UK and Europe.
- Own commercial reporting, eCommerce P&L; visibility and technology optimisation across Shopify, Klaviyo, analytics, automation and digital tools.

The Skillset |
- Ideally 4–7+ years’ experience across eCommerce, digital retail or DTC
- Premium fashion, luxury, beauty or consumer brand experience highly regarded
- Strong hands-on Shopify experience
- Commercially minded with confidence taking accountability for revenue and profitability
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and customer acquisition
- Experience managing or working closely with digital agencies
- Strong CRM, email marketing and customer retention capability
- Demonstrated experience using analytics to drive commercial decisions
- Strong digital merchandising instincts and understanding of fashion retail
- Comfortable reading a P&L; and understanding the economics of an eCommerce channel
- International eCommerce experience highly regarded
- Experience helping scale an eCommerce business particularly valuable
- Proactive, analytical, highly accountable and naturally curious
- Comfortable shifting between strategy, analysis and hands-on execution
