Queensland Data and Electrical Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team.

This is a full-time position based from our office in Brendale, Queensland. We are interested in hearing fromapplicants who are reliable, hardworking and ready to build a long-term career in the electrical industry.

You will work alongside experienced electricians while completing your electrical qualification and gaining practical experience across a variety of electrical and telecommunications projects.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Learning to read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams and technical information
- Developing practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Participating in on-the-job training and attending technical college as required
- Using tools, equipment and materials safely and correctly
- Maintaining a clean, organised and protected work environment
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About you

We are looking for someone who has:
- A genuine interest in the electrical trade and a strong willingness to learn
- Min 4 year full-time work history
- A current open driver licence
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Good problem-solving and practical skills
- The ability to work well within a team and follow instructions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A strong commitment to workplace safety




- The ability to undertake physically demanding work

Previous trade, construction or electrical experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Mature age Apprenices encouraged to apply.
