Role Description The Email Marketing Specialist / Social Media Coordinator is a part-time, remote role responsible for planning and executing digital campaigns that promote solar energy solutions and engage current and prospective customers. Day-to-day tasks include creating and scheduling email marketing campaigns, segmenting subscriber lists, and tracking performance metrics such as open rates and click-through rates.

The role also involves developing social media content calendars, producing posts, graphics, and short-form copy, and monitoring engagement across platforms. This position will collaborate with team members to align messaging with brand guidelines, support lead generation efforts, and refine strategies based on analytics. The ideal candidate will manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining consistent, customer-focused communication.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing to plan, produce, and optimize platform-specific content.




- Proficiency in Digital Marketing with experience running email campaigns and tracking performance using analytics tools.
- Excellent Writing and Communication skills to craft clear, persuasive messaging and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar) and major social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Basic understanding of renewable energy or interest in the solar industry; prior experience in energy, sustainability, or related fields is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a data-informed approach to optimizing campaigns.
- Relevant education or training in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related discipline is beneficial.
