Duties/Responsibilities

- Perform assessments, Integration planning, upgrades, modifications and maintenance to existing and future robotic and similar technologies, including CNC Robotic laser equipment, Robotic Plasma beds, Slingers, Robotic Welders and similar
- Manage the Processing Production team and associated processes and procedures
- Maintain logs of production and quality records in accordance with ISO 9001 policies and project specifications.
- Liaising with production team to ensure issues with processing equipment operation are resolved efficiently.
- Utilize equipment provided to protect health and safety in the workplace.
- Demonstrate operational compliance with procedures and WHS safety standards
- Creating and conducting test procedures.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic,
- and programming).
- Liaising with suppliers/project engineers, supervising and training engineering, maintenance and technical staff on programming and secure operation of equipment.
- Conducting preventative/corrective maintenance and repairs of CNC equipment as per maintenance schedule or as required.
- To conduct periodic inspection on equipment investigating problems, diagnosing and rectifying faults.
- Providing technical and service support.




- Perform modifications (design, mechanical. electrical, and programming) of parts to improve productivity and machine performance if required.
- Learn internal software from the vendors to utilize the machine capabilities

Abilities/Skills

- Basic maths skills
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Computer literacy in the use of CNC software. CAD/ CAM / MRP programming experience is preferable.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of CNC control systems and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of motion control techniques.
- Knowledge in electronic switching theory, machine and digital design, Peripheral Integrated Circuit (PIC) Microcontroller and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).
- Literacy in CAD design (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Fusion 360, etc.), Tekla, Autodesk Inventor, and relevant CNC program.
- Knowledge of work health and safety.
- Understanding of the requirements of IS09001.

Work Environment

- May involve exposure to fumes, noise, dust, or heat
- Must adhere to safety protocols
- Often work as part of a team
- Typically work in indoor facilities
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work with potentially hazardous equipment and materials
