Engineering Applications (ENAP) is a Brisbane-based engineering and construction firm with over 40 years? history in design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of process plant and associated facilities across a diverse range of industries.

Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for an experienced Senior Structural/Civil Engineer to join the Design Team at our main site in Hemmant.

What the Role Involves

n

This is a senior engineering role working across industrial and manufacturing projects, with a strong focus on practical and economical engineering solutions.

n

You?ll be involved in:

n

n
- Structural and civil design across reinforced concrete, concrete structures, structural steel, industrial facilities, buildings, platforms and mechanical equipment supports.
n
- Applying Geotechnical and Civil Engineering principles, including concrete footings, subgrade, piling, pavement and roadway design.
n
- Working across brownfield construction projects, with an increasing number of Greenfield project requests.
n
- Working directly with Project Managers and multi-disciplinary teams to understand and deliver project and client-specific requirements.
n
- Managing multiple projects while developing practical, economical and constructable solutions.
n
- Preparing high-quality technical documentation while working within relevant Australian Standards, Codes and the National Construction Code.

Are You an ENAP Fit?

n

n




- Formal Structural/Civil Engineering qualifications recognised by Engineers Australia, with RPEQ registration with the Board of Professional Engineers QLD.
n
- 10+ years? Structural Engineering experience, predominantly within industrial and manufacturing sectors.
n
- Strong knowledge of industry Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and the National Construction Code of Australia.
n
- Demonstrated design experience across reinforced concrete footings and foundations, in-situ and precast concrete structures, structural steel, industrial facilities, buildings, platforms and mechanical equipment supports.
n
- Solid understanding of Geotechnical and Civil Engineering principles, including concrete footings, subgrade, piling, pavement and roadways design.
n
- Ability to develop practical and economical solutions, with a strong understanding of construction methods, procedures and the design constraints they present.
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and diverse tasks within a multi-disciplinary environment, working directly with Project Managers and responding quickly to project and client requirements.
n
- High-level problem-solving, time management, communication and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
n
- Strong computer skills including SpaceGass and Microsoft Suite, with Inventor,



Revit and Advanced Steel experience preferred.
