Job Description
Key Responsibilities
n
Partner with senior leaders to support the execution of business strategy through workforce and capability planning.
n
Act as a trusted advisor on organisational effectiveness, risk, and performance.
n

- Talent & Workforce Strategyn n
- Lead workforce planning, succession strategies, and critical role identification.
n
- Drive talent pipelines aligned to future capability needs.
n
- Embed internal mobility, career pathways and retention strategies.
n

- Leadership & Capability Developmentn
n
- Coach leaders on performance, engagement and culture outcomes.
n
- Partner with leaders to build leadership capability, consistency and accountability.
n
- Partner with the L&D; team to design and implement leadership development initiatives aligned to organisational priorities.
n
- Lead culture initiatives that reinforce values, behaviours and employee experience.
n
- Drive organisational change initiatives, including restructures, transformation and rebranding.
n
- Partner with leaders to stabilise teams and improve engagement outcomes.
n

- Performance & Accountabilityn
n
- Embed a high-performance culture through robust performance frameworks and leadership capability.
n
- Support leaders in setting clear expectations, managing underperformance and recognising high performers.
n
n
- Employee & Industrial Relationsn
n
- Provide expert advice on employee relations matters and risk mitigation.
n
- Lead investigations and ensure fair, consistent outcomes.
n
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, including APRA and CPS 511, and internal governance frameworks.
n
- Partner with Legal, Risk and Compliance to proactively manage people-related risk.
n
- Maintain oversight of policy frameworks and ensure business alignment.
n
- Leverage workforce data to inform decisions and identify risks and opportunities.
n
- Provide insight-led recommendations on turnover, engagement, capability and performance trends.
n

Role Requirements
n
n
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
n
- At least 4 years' experience in a P&C; Business Partner role, including coaching senior stakeholders.
n
- Strong understanding of employment legislation, HR best practice and employee relations risk management.
n
- Experience working in a regulated or governance-heavy environment, ideally financial services or an APRA-regulated organisation.
n
- Strong track record in workforce planning, talent strategy, organisational change and leadership capability uplift.
n
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exposure to HRIS, dashboards or people analytics tools desirable.
