The Neurosurgery & Plastics Unit at Liverpool Hospital is seeking enthusiastic nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while developing advanced specialty skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside expert multidisciplinary teams and gain hands-on experience in the care of complex neurosurgical and reconstructive surgery patients. In this role, you will develop skills in:
- Advanced neurological assessment and recognition of patient deterioration.
- Management and monitoring of lumbar drains and External Ventricular Drains (EVDs).
- Free flap observations and postoperative reconstructive surgery care.
- Care of patients undergoing complex neurosurgical and plastic surgery procedures.
