Enterprise Architect with AI Domain Expertise

Location: Melbourne

Working arrangement: Three days onsite and two days remote

Duration: Initial 3 to 6 month contract

Engagement: Day rate

We are searching for an experienced Enterprise Architect with genuine AI domain expertise to support a major enterprise through a critical period of AI architecture decision-making.

You will act as the central point of collaboration across technology, architecture, legal, risk and compliance, helping turn existing AI architecture work into a practical and approved enterprise standard.

Key responsibilities

- Define AI native target state architectures, operating models and decision frameworks
- Formalise the AI Agent Operating Model, including agent classification, platform versus individual solution and build versus run
- Establish clear governance, ownership and operational responsibilities
- Embed security, responsible AI, legal, risk and compliance requirements from the outset




- Provide authoritative technical direction to senior stakeholders
- Support Solution Architects and confidently move into solution level detail when required

We are looking for someone with:

- Solid Enterprise Architecture experience
- Demonstrated AI, GenAI, Agentic AI or intelligent automation expertise
- Experience taking enterprise AI or automation from strategy into production
- Knowledge of AI governance and regulated environments
- Experience developing operating models, reference architectures and technology standards
- The credibility to influence executives and architecture teams

Experience delivering large scale intelligent automation or RPA operating models will also be highly regarded.
