We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an Enterprise Change Risk Specialist, you'll support the delivery of key risk transformation initiatives across Australian Retirement Trust.
You'll play an important role in our Risk Maturity Uplift program, working across the enterprise to help design, implement and embed improved risk management practices. Through your stakeholder engagement, change management and risk expertise, you'll help strengthen governance, support better decision-making and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You'll collaborate with senior leaders, frontline teams and subject matter experts to influence better practices, support regulatory alignment and help ART continue to deliver sustainable outcomes for our members.
This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.
Responsibilities
Day to day, you'll:
- Lead the coordination and development of risk transformation initiatives aligned to ART's strategic objectives, emerging risks and overall risk profile.
- Prepare reports and recommendations that support risk transformation priorities and program delivery.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to help embed uplifted risk management practices across the organisation.
- Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to gain support for risk transformation initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement activities that increase capability and efficiency across the business unit.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance and control effectiveness.
- Lead change management activities that foster continuous improvement and innovation.
- Organise and lead workshops, meetings and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Work with internal and external subject matter experts to design, document and support refreshed risk frameworks, policies, procedures and processes.
- Provide practical advice and guidance on risk management matters, drawing on your industry knowledge and experience.
Qualifications
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
- You have deep experience in risk management, including risk transformation in a regulated financial services environment.
- Your background includes supporting change management or transformation initiatives.
- You'll bring a strong understanding of audit standards, risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements, including APRA and ASIC.
- You're confident balancing risk and opportunity to support sustainable member outcomes.
- You can think strategically, anticipate emerging risks and provide practical recommendations.
- Your stakeholder engagement skills help you influence, challenge and build buy-in at senior levels.
- You'll use strong analytical and decision-making skills to assess complex risk scenarios.
- You're committed to continuous improvement, adaptability and bringing fresh perspectives to transformation work.
- You may have experience or familiarity with project management disciplines and project risk management practices.
