Role Description The Events & Administration Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Burwood, VIC. This position involves supporting the planning and delivery of events, including coordinating logistics, preparing event documentation, and liaising with suppliers and clients. The coordinator will manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, processing invoices, and handling general office communications.
The role also includes assisting with client inquiries, providing customer service before, during, and after events,
and ensuring accurate record-keeping for event budgets and reports. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the events team to maintain smooth operations and contribute to the overall quality and success of each event.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proven Administrative Assistance experience, including scheduling, documentation, data entry, and office coordination.
- Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond promptly to inquiries and provide skilled, client-focused support.
- Basic Finance understanding, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and supporting event budget administration.
- Excellent Organization Skills, including time management, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, or office administration is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Office suite) and capacity to learn event-specific systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Burwood, VIC, with flexibility for occasional extended hours around key events.
