Are you an organised and community-minded professional with experience delivering events, fundraising initiatives, and engaging stakeholder communications? We are partnering with a respected Western Australian not-for-profit organisation to recruit an Events & Community Relations Coordinator who will play a key role in building connections, delivering meaningful events, and supporting a well-established community network.

Our client is a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation that provides support, connection, and wellbeing programs to a long-standing community across Western Australia. With a strong reputation and meaningful mission, this organisation delivers events, fundraising initiatives, and engagement programs that make a genuine difference.

Your new role

Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will coordinate a range of events, fundraising activities, communications, and community engagement initiatives. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple projects, and creating engaging content.

Key responsibilities include:

- Planning and delivering fundraising, networking, and community events.
- Coordinating event promotion, registrations, volunteers, and suppliers.
- Supporting fundraising campaigns and donor engagement activities.
- Building relationships with community groups, supporters, and stakeholders.
- Managing social media content, engagement, and online community growth.
- Developing digital marketing campaigns, e-newsletters, and communications.
- Representing the organisation at community and stakeholder events.
- Supporting the promotion of programs,



initiatives, and community stories

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience in events, fundraising, community engagement, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience creating content for social media and digital channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team-oriented, hands-on approach and willingness to support a small team environment.
- Availability to attend occasional evening and weekend events.
- Experience within the not-for-profit or community sector will be highly regarded.

- Lots of flexibility in the role and can be 0.6 - 0-.8 spread across 3–5 days. 1 day per week work-from-home (after probation period)
- Please note there will be a requirement approx once per month for weekend/after-hours work which can be taken in lieu.
- Initial casual engagement with the opportunity to move into a fixed-term position.
