A Construction Worker at Metro Asphalt Pty Ltd plays a vital role in supporting the construction projects by undertaking various tasks and ensuring the smooth execution of operations. The main responsibilities and tasks for this position include:

- Assisting with the preparation of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Operating hand and power tools to assist with various construction tasks, such as digging trenches,



breaking up concrete, or assisting with asphalt paving.
- Performing routine maintenance on construction equipment and machinery to ensure their proper functioning.
- Following safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure work workplace for all team members.
- Supporting the team in completing construction projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
- Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and targets.

Our Construction Workers are expected to demonstrate strong teamwork skills, physical endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to following safety procedures. Required Qualifications

- Current Victorian Drivers Licence (mandatory)
- WorkSafe issued Construction Induction Card (mandatory)
- Heavy Rigid/Combination – Truck Licence (desirable, highly advantageous)
- Excavator Competency - (desirable, highly advantageous)
- ESV Spotters ticket
