The Executive Manager, Workforce Advisory is responsible for the provision of expert and authoritative advice to senior leaders and regional HR practitioners on a wide range of complex workforce management matters, focussed on early intervention and resolution. The role manages a small team of HR practitioners in the delivery of these services and will focus on the development of regional capability in all areas of workforce management.

The role will also work in partnership with other teams within the Performance and Conduct Services portfolio to ensure work activities are integrated and aligned with contemporary workforce management practices to deliver on strategic workforce outcomes.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:

- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of employment legislation, and other workforce employment frameworks (including awards, agreements, Directives etc.) that enables the development of appropriate strategies to manage individual employment matters and the development of Statewide policy and strategy to support quality workforce decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience in providing managers at all levels expert technical and specialised strategic advisory and consultancy services in relation to the appropriate management and resolution of complex and sensitive employment related issues.
- Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills in order to work autonomously to diagnose issues and provide quality advice and solutions to complex workforce and employee issues, both on a Statewide and local basis.




- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and support capability development amongst Statewide HR Practitioners and management roles at all levels in order to improve the management and outcomes in regard to complex and sensitive employment related issues.
- Demonstrated high level ability to build and maintain productive relationships and liaise, advise and negotiate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, to achieve expected organisational outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to provide expert level advice on employment matters, with the proven ability and expertise to represent an organisation in legal and industrial relations tribunals and hearings.

Mandatory/Special Conditions/Other Requirements The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:

- Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in human resources or another relevant discipline will be highly regarded.
