Chef Sofra is expanding its kitchen team and is looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef to join us on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy kitchen and capable of preparing and delivering a consistent, high-quality breakfast service.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard
- Completing mise en place and preparing ingredients before service
- Maintaining an organised, clean and efficient workstation
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen-handling procedures
- Preventing cross-contamination and responding appropriately to customers’ allergy requirements
- Working cooperatively with the existing kitchen team
- Assisting with stock rotation and minimising food waste

What we are looking for
- Previous experience as a chef or experienced cook




- Experience working during breakfast or busy daytime services
- Strong understanding of food safety and food allergies
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Positive communication and teamwork skills

- Valid Australian working rights
- Availability for morning and weekend shifts

This is a part-time position with a starting rate of $29.45 per hour. Pay will be based on experience. Superannuation will apply. If you are passionate about quality food and would like to join a supportive, growing restaurant team, we would be pleased to hear from you.
