HAIR DAY is an established and busy hair salon in East Victoria Park, known for high-quality, personalised hair services and a strong focus on Asian hair. Our team works with a diverse clientele and provides a wide range of services, including precision cutting, advanced colour, bleaching and balayage, digital and cold perms, straightening, scalp treatments and styling.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is suited to a confident and well-rounded hairdresser who can work independently, manage a busy appointment schedule and consistently deliver high-quality results and client care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct professional client consultations and provide appropriate hair and scalp advice
- Perform precision cutting using scissors, clippers and razors
- Provide professional colour services including permanent colour, toning, bleaching, foils, balayage and colour correction
- Perform chemical services including digital perm, cold perm, straightening and other texture services
- Provide shampooing, hair treatments and scalp-care services
- Style and finish hair using professional styling techniques
- Recommend suitable professional haircare products and home-care routines
- Manage appointments efficiently and complete services within allocated booking times




- Build and maintain positive, long-term client relationships
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and salon presentation
- Support junior team members and apprentices where required
- Participate in salon training, education and professional development
- Contribute positively to the overall salon workflow and team setting

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum 5 years of professional hairdressing experience preferred
- AQF Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent recognised qualification and/or relevant professional experience
- Strong and consistent cutting skills
- Strong colour knowledge and confidence with bleaching and colour work
- Experience working with a variety of hair types, particularly Asian hair
- Experience with perming, straightening or other chemical services is highly regarded
- Strong consultation and customer service skills
- Good time management and awareness of appointment schedules
- The ability to work confidently and independently in a busy salon
- A professional, reliable and accountable approach to work
- A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing
- Effective English communication skills appropriate for client consultation and teamwork
- Manage your own social media affiliated with Hair Day

Strong expertise in colour, blonding, balayage,



Asian hair, digital perm, straightening or advanced cutting techniques will be highly regarded.
