Experienced Storeperson / Warehouse Operator

Join a leading Australian supplier supporting the mining, industrial and materials handling industries. VLI Conveyors is seeking a motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our Brisbane team. This is a hands-on role that will see you responsible for the efficient management of warehouse operations, inventory control, receipting, dispatch, and logistics support for our growing conveyor business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, parts and equipment throughout the business.

Your responsibilities will include

- Receiving, inspecting and receipting incoming stock
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through SAP transactions and stock control processes
- Conducting cycle counts and assisting with stocktakes
- Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and material handling equipment
- Booking freight and coordinating deliveries with transport providers
- Supporting urgent customer and operational requirements, including shutdown work preparation
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility and company procedures
- Assisting with warehouse process improvements and inventory optimisation initiatives

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential





- Current Forklift Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics role
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP/Warehouse Management Systems
- Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control processes
- Experience preparing and dispatching freight and managing associated documentation
- Commitment to workplace safety and protected work practices
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and manage warehouse activities independently
