Cementaid is a long-established Australian manufacturer and supplier of specialty concrete admixtures and durability solutions. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Factory Operations & Trade Sales Assistant to join our NSW team and play a key role in both the day-to-day operation of our manufacturing facility and the ongoing growth and support of our customer base within the concrete industry.

About the Role

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing factory and warehouse operations while supporting customers, distributors, precast and premix concrete producers, and contractors across the Eastern Region.

The role requires a practical, hands-on performer who is equally comfortable managing production activities, conducting site visits, delivering technical support, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production

- Oversee daily factory operations, including chemical blending, batching, decanting, storage, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure required products are manufactured accurately in accordance with established formulations and quality requirements.
- Maintain a secure, clean, and efficient manufacturing environment.
- Operate and maintain forklifts, pumps, machinery, vehicles, and factory equipment.
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and operational records.
- Coordinate warehouse operations, deliveries, and logistics scheduling.
- Maintain company safety standards, policies,



and WH&S; procedures.
- Monitor and maintain factory equipment, tools, and vehicles.

Customer & Technical Support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across the premix, precast, infrastructure, and construction sectors.
- Provide technical support relating to concrete admixtures, applications, and site practices.
- Attend batching plants and construction sites to provide assistance and troubleshooting.
- Act as a contact for customer service and site-related issues.

Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities throughout the Eastern Region.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants, and asset owners.
- Represent Cementaid at industry events, conferences, and professional forums.
- Assist in promoting Cementaid products and solutions throughout the concrete and construction industries.

Travel
- Travel throughout regional and remote areas as required.
- Interstate travel may be required from time to time.

About You The successful candidate will possess:
- Experience within the concrete, construction materials, manufacturing, or chemical industries.
- Strong understanding of concrete technology, mix designs, and construction practices. (Preferred but not essential)




- Customer relationship and business development skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, particularly in relation to quality control and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Competency with Microsoft Office and business software systems.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- A practical hands-on approach and willingness to assist wherever required.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Essential Requirements
- Current forklift licence.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in a factory environment.
- Experience operating factory, warehouse, or site equipment.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to accurately follow procedures and instructions.
- Ability to travel as required.
