About the role An ongoing casual role on a farm in the Boddington/Bannister/Wandering district, about an hour and a half from Perth. This is an all-round farmhand position involving machinery operation and spraying, workshop maintenance and welding, fencing, chainsaw and firebreak work, plus seasonal support during seeding, spraying and harvest. Standard week is around 2–3 days, stepping up during seeding, spraying and harvest.

Key responsibilities

- Operating tractors and a tow-behind sprayer

- Equipment maintenance, servicing and welding repairs

- Fencing repairs and property maintenance

- Chainsaw and firebreak work

- Seasonal cropping support

About you

- Solid general farm experience — able to turn your hand to most jobs - self motivated

- Confident, careful machinery operator with sprayer experience

- Chemical accreditation (AusChem/ChemCert) or willing to get it

- Welding and workshop skills

- Chainsaw and fencing experience

- Driver's licence and your own reliable transport

- Reliable, safety-minded and able to work unsupervised

- Bonus points (not essential): HR truck licence and header driving experience
