Job Description
SALARY - $90,000 to $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a leading manufacturer operating within a fast-paced production environment. They are looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to support site safety, develop training processes, maintain documentation and ensure employees are appropriately trained and competent.
n
The Health & Safety Coordinator will ideally have:
n
n
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety, Training, Process or Operations role within a manufacturing, factory, warehouse or industrial environment
n
- Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, Training, WHS or a related discipline
n
- Experience developing and maintaining training matrices, procedures, SOPs and safety documentation
n
- Strong understanding of workplace processes and the ability to translate these into effective training
n
- Experience delivering or coordinating training for employees across a production or warehouse environment
n
- Strong written English and excellent documentation skills
n
- Good understanding of WHS legislation, policies and procedures
n
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels
n
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training and compliance requirements
n
- A proactive approach to workplace safety, training and continuous improvement
n
n
The Health & Safety Coordinator role will involve:
n
n
- Coordinating and delivering health, safety and operational training across the site
n
- Developing and maintaining training matrices and competency records
n
- Writing and updating SOPs, safe work procedures and training documentation
n
- Working closely with production and warehouse teams to understand processes and identify training requirements
n
- Supporting the implementation of new processes, procedures and training systems
n
- Monitoring employee training and ensuring required competencies are maintained
n
- Supporting WHS compliance, audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Identifying training and safety gaps and implementing appropriate improvements
n
- Working with employees and supervisors to promote a strong safety culture
n
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is kept up to date
