We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Accountant to join a well-established construction business, reporting directly into the Financial Controller.

n

This is a great opportunity for a few different profiles:

n

n
- A Financial Accountant currently in a contract role looking for a permanent chance.
n
- A second mover looking to step into a larger, more complex business, with exposure to larger projects and a broader corporate accounting environment.
n
- A first mover from Big 4 or mid-tier audit, particularly someone who has experience auditing construction businesses and is looking to make their first move into industry.

The Role

n

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Month-end and year-end reporting
n
- Financial accounting and corporate reporting
n
- Balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Statutory reporting and compliance
n
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements
n
- Working closely with external auditors
n




- Supporting the wider finance team across accounting and reporting
n
- Providing financial insights and analysis to the broader business
n
- Supporting the Financial Controller across key finance initiatives and projects
n

About You

n

Experience within construction is highly regarded, but we are particularly interested in candidates with strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail and a genuine interest in developing their career within industry.

n

This could be a particularly good opportunity for a Big 4 or mid-tier auditor with construction exposure who is ready to make the move into a commercial environment.
