English Teacher (Years 7-10) An exciting opportunity exists for an English Teacher to join a well-established independent school inLaunceston, Tasmania, teachingYears 7-10 English and Literacy. The position is available on either afull-time or 0.8 FTE basis, commencing17 August 2026.
This contract role will continue through to the end of the2026 school year, with the potential for anongoing permanent appointment in 2027 for the right candidate.
The Role

- Deliver engaging English and Literacy programs for students in Years 7-10.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Support student achievement through effective classroom practice and assessment.
- Contribute positively to the broader school community.
