Pindari are growing and we are seeking an experienced and proactive HSEQ Advisor to join our growing team. This is an exciting chance for a safety professional who is passionate about supporting operational leaders, improving systems, and driving a positive Health, Safety, Environment and Quality culture across our business.
Working across our diverse operations, you'll partner with project teams and operational leaders to ensure compliance, strengthen risk management practices, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects throughout Western Australia.

About the Role
Reporting to the Contract Manager, with indirect reporting to the HSEQ Lead, you will provide practical Health, Safety, Environment and Quality advice and support to operational leaders and project teams.
You will play a key role in ensuring our HSEQ management systems remain compliant, effective and focused on continuous improvement while supporting the safe and successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Pindari's HSEQ Management System.
- Provide practical HSEQ advice and coaching to operational leaders and project teams.
- Assist with injury management, return-to-work plans and incident investigations.
- Monitor, review and report on incidents, hazards, training and risk trends.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments across projects and operational sites.
- Maintain HSEQ registers, documentation and compliance records.
- Support ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 compliance, internal audits and quality assurance activities.
- Assist with document control, management system improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver HSEQ inductions, toolbox support and guidance to employees and contractors.
- Prepare reports, presentations, tender documentation and compliance reporting as required.
About You You are a proactive HSEQ skilled who enjoys working closely with operational teams to improve safety outcomes and build positive working relationships. You bring a practical approach to compliance, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate IV, Diploma or tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working within Health, Safety and Environment management systems.
- Knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, incident management and hazard reporting processes.
- Experience supporting ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 management systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare reports and identify improvement opportunities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
- Qualifications in Quality Assurance and/or Internal Auditing.
- Experience within mining, facilities maintenance, building or construction environments.
- Experience supporting document management systems and compliance audits.
- Strong problem-solving, customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Having worked or contracted to BHP
