HSS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Serviceperson for an immediate start on a major tailings dam project in the Pilbara.

Our client is a well-established contractor with a robust pipeline of work delivering large-scale mining and civil projects across Western Australia.

This role will see you supporting a large mobile plant fleet in the field, carrying out refuelling, servicing and basic maintenance to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

- Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour flat
- FIFO from Perth only
- 2:1 roster – 12-hour shifts
- Days and nights

The Fleet

You will be servicing equipment including:
- CAT D11 Dozers
- CAT 16/24M Graders
- Komatsu WA1200 Loaders
- CAT 994 Loaders
- CAT 793 Dump Trucks
- Komatsu 830E Dump Trucks

About The Role

Your duties will include:
- Refuelling heavy mobile mining equipment in the field
- Checking and topping up oils, coolants and other fluids
- Carrying out scheduled machine servicing and lubrication
- Greasing mobile plant and equipment
- Completing basic inspections and identifying faults or maintenance requirements
- Maintaining service records and reporting issues to the maintenance team
- Safely operating service trucks around active mining and earthworks areas
- Maintaining a clean and organised service vehicle and work area





About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Serviceperson / Service Truck Operator within mining, civil or heavy earthmoving
- Experience servicing large mining equipment
- Good understanding of oils, lubricants, coolants and basic preventative maintenance
- Ability to work both day and night shifts
- Strong commitment to safety and site procedures
- Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently in the field
- Previous FIFO mining experience essential

Standard Health & Site Compliance

- Current HR Driver's Licence – Essential
- Current White Card – Essential
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Ability to complete Musculoskeletal, Audiometry and Spirometry assessments
- Must be clean-shaven or willing to shave for a mandatory mask fit test
