About the role A well-established wholesaler located in Kilsyth is seeking an experienced Finance, Administration and Quality Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our finance department. This is a diverse and hands-on role that combines accounts administration, finance support and quality management responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS)
- Support internal quality audits and continuous improvement activities
- Monitor and follow up non-conformances and corrective actions
- Complete customer questionnaires
- Support the Finance Team across a range of accounting and administrative functions
- Manage accounts receivable, including proactively following up customers by phone and email
- Collaborate with the account team to manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process including payment allocation and customer account reconciliations
- Assist with PPSR registrations, compliance requirements, and credit insurance
- Provide backup support for processing customer credit applications
- Support month-end reporting and financial close processes
About you
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance-related role
- Proven experience in debt collection and managing customer accounts
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across a range of financial, administration and quality management responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems, Tencia software is preferred but not mandatory
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Adaptability and flexibility to respond effectively to changing business needs, priorities, and responsibilities
