Finance & Administration Officer

About the role
- Provide financial and administrative services to support the smooth running of the office
- Filing and records management, mail receipt and sorting
- Maintenance spreadsheets and database such as registers, photocopying, compilation of manuals and reports
- Undertake SAP related tasks including data entry, raising and receipting of purchase orders and assisting with payment transactions
- Provide meeting support, preparing agendas, organising venues and catering, and distributing minutes
- Maintain the TRIM computerised records management system and create, store, retrieve and archive files
- Supporting procurement activities and contract administration
- Responding to customer enquiries internally and externally and provide customer service and support

About you
- Financial administration experience with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Communicate openly and respectfully with ability to adapt to changes
- Work collaboratively and has ability to build positive working relationships
- Be able to maintain accurate records and deliver quality outcomes on time
- Experienced in applying financial processes to support efficient service delivery and sound financial management
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current and valid NSW Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
