MIDDAY ON WEDNESDAY, 9 SEPTEMBER 2026** The Forest Management Plan 2024–2033 (FMP) provides the strategic framework for the ecologically sustainable management of Western Australia’s south-west forests.

It guides the conservation of biodiversity, maintenance of ecosystem health and vitality, protection of soil and water resources, adaptation to climate change, and management of cultural, social and economic values. Through coordinated planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, the FMP supports evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement in forest management across the plan area.

We are currently seeking a Finance and Administration Officer (Forest Management Plan) to join our team.

Under the general direction of the Coordinator Forest Management Plan, this position provides finance and administrative support for the implementation of the FMP. The role monitors and reports on budgets, expenditure, and delivery of management activities to support management effectiveness processes. It also acts as Executive Officer for the FMP Coordination and Oversight Groups.

Selection Criteria Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.

- Demonstrated experience providing financial and administrative support in a busy diverse environment, including sound knowledge of financial management systems and procurement processes.
- Demonstrated advanced interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with strong capability in the use of personal computing and cloud-based platforms, including spreadsheets and other common office applications.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, plan work effectively, and meet established timeframes.




- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment, including the capacity to analyse issues and identify practical solutions.
